Waltzing with Widow’s tears – Sandra Lindow
We who
were soul mates in so many ways could not
learn to waltz together.
That formal fragile fitting
of body into body
could not be mastered.
Now I bend
to waltz
with
Widow’s Tears,
named
for
their
unplanned
blooms,
the
irrevocable
division
of the
leaves
separ-
ating
flower
from
flower.
